- ICC World Cup 2011 Stadiums will be Ready
The stadiums for World Cup 2011 which will be held in sub-continent, are not ready yet and are facing delays.
But World Cup 2011 director Ratnakar Shetty is saying that the construction work is at its peak and there will be no more delays. All the stadiums will be ready soon.
“I think the concerns are more in the media than anything else,” Shetty said following an inspection by an International Cricket Council team of the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. “As far as we are concerned, all the 13 venues which are going to stage the World Cup are coming up very well and we don’t see any reason for concern,” he added.
We are sure that the stadiums and other infrastructures needed will be ready and A-one by ICC World Cup 2011. Take the example of CWGs, nothing was looking in favor of us, even there were rumors that games would be shifted. But what happened further is in front of all of us.
Then this time, it will be our passion getting painted on the field. There can be delays, but it will be a wonderful World Cup and will be just in time.
